CONFRONTATIONS: A Scientist's Search for Alien Contact
Jacques Vallee
Anomalist Books, 2008
A sober warning of the dangers of UFO contact.
Now retired from the UFO scene, Jacques Vallee was one of the most sober, perceptive, and scientifically astute observers of the phenomenon. "Confrontations" is the second volume of his great trilogy ("Dimensions" and "Revelations" are the other two) which summed up ...
The Field Guide to Bigfoot and Other Mystery Primates
Loren Coleman
,
Patrick Huyghe
Anomalist Books, 2006
Coleman hits another homerun!!!
This book, originally released in 1999, was controversial for the sheer number of different species covered in it. Perhaps the most controversial classification was the oceanic primates, or "mer-beings." This book is not exactly a "straight" reprint of the original ...
The President's Vampire: Strange-but-True Tales of the United States of America
Robert Damon Schneck
Anomalist Books, 2005
Fantastically Fortean
With the current proliferation of books about weird events, "The President's Vampire" is a diamond among briquettes. Robert Damon Schneck has done forteans and fans of the fantastic a tremendous service by picking little-known subjects and applying a scholar's research ...
Strange Company: Military Encounters with UFOs in World War II
Keith Chester

Strange Company
Keith Chester's book concerns anomalous aerial phenomena sighted by allied and enemy pilots during World War II in Europe and the Far East. It is a must read for UFOlogists and the general public will find it of great interest. Keith spent years digging out hard data ...
SHADOW WORLD: True Encounters with Beings from the Darkside
Brad Steiger
Anomalist Books, 2007
What you get, is not always seen
When I bought Shadow World, I was looking for answers. Chapter six had everything I was looking for. This book was such a good read that I read it in one sitting. Great writing, with a style that holds your attention from word one until the last word on the last ...
REVELATIONS: Alien Contact and Human Deception
Jacques Vallee
Anomalist Books, 2008
An ironic title indeed!
After a long hiatus (about 23 years), this was the first book I read on the UFO phenomenon. And I don't think I could have picked a better one start with. Here was a researcher who shared my reservations over the fascination with conspiracies and hypnotic regression ...
DIMENSIONS: A Casebook of Alien Contact
Jacques Vallee
Anomalist Books, 2008
Great Book
This is an excellent book, with much insight into how strange the entire UFO issue may in fact be. My only wish is that an electronic edition were made available. I've got three copies of the book and would gladly pay for another copy to tote around on the Kindle.
There's Something in the Woods
Nick Redfern
Anomalist Books, 2008
Enjoyable Read
An interesting and informative collection of things most strange. Would recommend this book for anyone who has an interest in cryptozoology or the paranormal. A lot of information with just the correct amount of humor to make this a very good read.
Worlds Before Our Own
Brad, Steiger
Anomalist Books, 2007
Worlds Before Our Own by Brad Steiger
The mounting scientific and paleontological evidence towards an alternative to the current world view, that man evolved from apes during the last three to five million years, is skillfully and relentlessly presented by Brad Steiger in this landmark book. It is now ...

Columbus Was Last: From 200,000 BC to 1492, A Heretical History of Who Was First
Patrick Huyghe
Anomalist Books, 2005
Indispensable Compendium on Pre-Columbus Era
Huyghe begins by reviewing the growing evidence for early settlement of the Americas which is becoming the new paradigm. This establishes that civilization that had a longer time to advance than previously thought, but as Huyghe reminds us, the many differences among ...
Otherworldly Affaires: Haunted Lovers, Phantom Spouses, and Sexual Molesters from the Shadow World
Brad Steiger
Anomalist Books, 2008
Best Book on the Controversial Subject
Brad Steiger's OTHERWORLDLY AFFAIRS is a controversial tome, instantly engaging. His seasoned storytelling gripped me from page one. I know how difficult it is to probe this subject, and Steiger has produced another classic. It's truly incomparable, delving into love ...
The Yowie: In Search of Australia's Bigfoot
Tony Healy
,
Paul Cropper
Anomalist Books, 2006
A necessary study of a forbidden subject
I was not disappointed after reading "The Yowie: In Search of Australia's Bigfoot, by Tony Healy and Paul Cropper. This book was more than informative and it contained more than meat and potatoes, not old rehashed stories and anecdotes. In it we find real witness, real ...
The Spirit of Dr. Bindelof: The Enigma of Seance Phenomena
Rosemarie Pilkington
Anomalist Books, 2006
Intriguing, yet disappointing
This is a very interesting, informative, and intriguing read. In addition to the Bindeloff case, the author summarizes some of the most credible cases of psychic phenomena, including D. D. Home, Francis Cook, Franek Kluski, and Eusapia Palladino. They are all bundled ...
HEAVENLY LIGHTS: The Apparitions of Fatima and the UFO Phenomenon
JOAQUIM FERNANDES
,
FINA D'ARMADA
Anomalist Books, 2007
Priceless research
It's sounds ridiculous read here about "flying saucers" presence and other eventual proofs of alleged "astronauts" from other worlds at Fatima spot. A strange ressurgence of the old 50's American culture, that even the anti-ET opponents are pregnant indeed. It seems ...
