Not a bad book at all, but they don't go into the power user functions. I would recommend another book by ESRI for the more advanced ARCInfo user, and save your money, but if you're a beginner, it's not a bad book at all.

There are other books around on the subject, I don't know them all, but after going through this book, I don't think I need to. Very good approach at learning this very complicated GIS software.
