The Case of the Blazing Sky #51 (Hank the Cowdog) John R. Erickson
Puffin, 2008
Over 21 Hank I bought this for my daughter who is almost 22. We grew up together on the Hank series. It was as much fun for me as it was for her. The audio tapes are superb as well! John Erickson is a hero in our family. All his books are a hoot - with some great messages to boot!

Puffin, 1998
Erickson's best work? I'd say so. Being a Hank the Cowdog fan, and having read every book more than once, this is by far my favorite Hank book.
It only gets better in audio form. Not only is it hilarious, but a song feature, "The Storm", is a beautiful composition.
