so believable a story

read "One thousand white women..." following recommendations of my sister-in-law in France (only available in French in Europe). Well, it was an incredible read and such a believable story. I brought the book in English through the internet in June 2003 and got it back in July 2007. In 4 years friends, friends of friends, then work colleagues have read it and all have loved this novel. I only got it back by chance and will read it again before sending my book back to be read by other friends of friends...... This novel is a little gem of a story, enough said!

Completely unexpected. Some of the best writing I've come across in a long time. I didn't think I was interested in the subject, but the book is so well written I couldn't put it down and I learned something.

Unexpected beautiful read

This was a most enjoyable book that truly was difficult to put down. Around each corner was a new challenge and story of it's own.
