Love it

If you love the movie and the TV show, you will love the CD. Listening to the songs you envision the characters and the life they lived. Upbeat and fun to listen to.

Stellar

I'm a music person, big fan, and I like a lot of the unknown artists. This is a great compilation of old and new. My favorite track is The Heart of the Matter with india arie, and how could you not love Labels of Love by Fergie. I love the mix of rock, pop, techno, etc. I havne't seen the movie yet (will this weekend) but I am definitally excited to have the soundtrack, and for the price, you can't beat it!

Sex and the City.

Much better soundtrack then I expected. Much as the ladies in the movie are diverse but complement each other, so do the songs on the soundtrack. It is a lovely marriage of the old and the new. "How Do You Mend a Broken Heart" is a particular favorite of mine. Fergie's track "Labels or Love" will get stuck in your head for hours. All in all very nice.

Overall A Strong Soundtrack

Like most soundtracks I've heard in the past, this one has a very diverse collection of songs and artists. My favorite track on the album has to be India Arie's take on "The Heart of the Matter" with How Can you Mend A Broken Heart with Al Green and Joss Stone. The overall sound of the album reminds me of the lighthearted, whimsical feeling I get when watching the TV show. Having not seen the movie (YET!) I look forward to seeing how these songs tie into the plot of the movie. Overall, a strong album that will no doubtedly raise your spirits!

Great songs

This soundtrack has a wide variety of songs and singers. I really liked the Fergie song "Labels or Love". But I was really suprised by the India Arie song "The Heart of the Matter". It is a really pleasing and easy listening song. I also love the duet with Al Green & Joss Stone "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart". What a great compilation of the artists. I definately would recommend the soundtrack to others.
