one of the best in the series
this book rocks. this has soooo much stuff all cramped into one little book. This covers every thing from face, hair, body, muscles, eyes and even a ninja section! and tons more. If your finding it hard to
draw
a pose, the simply flick to the back, heaps of poses, and even how to put glasses on your character and make them hold cigaretts (for some reason).....
get this book. Period.
Very Helpful Book
Like most people I have an easy time
draw
ing girls, but a REALLY hard time with the guys! This books goes step by step explaining how the
male
body should be drawn, then moves on to clothing the character, and finally only the features of men. It's really helpful, the shipping is quick, and now I find drawing men really fun and easy because of this book! I really suggest you buy it! Also because it's a really good deal on Amazon. It's too expensive elsewhere =] Enjoy!

FINALLY!!
Have you noticed that a girl takes center stage on ALL the other How To
Draw
Manga
books? They look great, they're fun to draw! But I find that myself and almost everyone else i know who draws manga have an easy time drawing girls and a hard time with the guys. Well here we go! Finally a book to help us out with that! It's very well done, plenty of good, useful advice.
Awesome book on male characters!
Hikaru truly lives up to his name with his how to
draw
manga
books. I was really impressed with Hikaru's how to draw
male
characters
book. This book covers:
Chapter one: Approaches to drawing the male form (This area cover the approaches to drawing the male form, his features, assorted body types, and differences between adults and children.)
Chapter two: The male body: Parts and connectives (This part covers the male body, hands, feet legs, chest, etc.)
Chapter three: Basic poses: The figure clothed and unclothed (which includes standing, walking from front to back and other angles, crawling, reclining, and sitting on the ground.)
Chapter four: Male clothing and accessories:
Uniforms, japanese dress, representing the hand, eye glasses, and shoes.
And finally chapter five: Representation techniques used by manga artists'.
This book is a must have to any how to draw arsenal. This book is very helpful to those who have a little trouble with the male form, since we get so use to drawing females.(not that that's a problem, being that I am a female myself.) All in all, you should definitely buy this book.
