Great story
My husband, 10 year old son and I have been following the
Percy
Jackson
saga - and this latest installment did not disappoint. The old characters are back and though they are consistent there is appropriate growth. Plenty of new monsters, new obstacles, and a very satisfying continuation of the larger plot. We look forward to the next
book
!!!
A story that keeps growing
It's just another average day in the life of the son of Poseidon when
Percy
Jackson
gets attacked at freshman orientation, causing yet another school to catch fire. Rick Riordan launches us on another adventure with Percy, Annabeth, Tyson, Grover, Niko, and even Rachel Elizabeth Dare (the mortal girl who can see through the magical mist the God's use to hide their world). Though the first three
book
s of this series tended to be stocked with more stories of the Greek Gods, this book brings us from the learning stage to the doing stage. Percy is more comfortable with his world now, though there are always new surprises to be had, and he finds himself preparing for an inevitable
battle
. Friends become enemies, enemies become friends, in another thrilling adventure of young heroes. The quest for Pan goes on, for Grover, as Annabeth leads her first quest to stop Luke and his army of monsters from destroying the camp. The stakes are higher and the enemies more powerful, but the group of friends are determined to save their world from destruction. Even at the end of their journey, things look darker than before, but the journey itself has more or less prepared them for what is to come. It will not be long before Percy turns sixteen and the terrible prophecy begins. The story continues, and it brings the readers along in a journey that determines the fate of the mortal world. Fans of the series will not be disappointed and new readers are always welcome. This is, for me, the best book of the series so far.

"This
book
is about a little boy named
Percy
Jackson
, who is a half-blood -- part god (one of Triton's sons) and part human. In this
Battle
of the
Labyrinth
, Percy is trying to save the half-blood camp, where all of the little half-bloods go; from a boy named Luke, who has turned upon his own kind and sides with Kronos (Triton's father), who wants to destroy the camp. I think the book was a very enjoyable book to read (I read it all in one day) and I loved the way this series of books were written and put together."

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1IPFDUA4Y24PZ Hey, I am a fan of this series and think Rick Riordan has done a good job creating a world. Personally, I also feel this is a great place to go after Harry Potter. It has a very similar, but unique and original feel.
