This show is great, heartwarming fun. Lorelei will keep you guessing with her quick wit and touching moments. Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel have stunning chemistry that can constantly put a smile on your face.

I doubt there will ever be a show this great!

This is such a wonderful show and a great first season. I highly recommend giving it a try. It has something for nearly everyone and it is not just a chick show. I know quite a few men, my husband included, who adore this series as much as me. It always seems to elevate our mood because it offers so much.

It is not a comedy or a drama but a perfect blend of both. The lines are hysterical and full of wit. The actors are perfect for their parts and seriousness and deep thougts ensue at the best moments.

At least give it a try. I really doubt that you will be disappointed.

The Wonderful Gilmore Girls!!

I just have to write a review for this WONDERFUL show!! Gilmore Girls is quite a rarity in the TV world in that it makes the audience feel like they are in their "Little Corner of the World". The setting of Connecticut tied in with the quirky yet earnest characters of small town Stars Hollow and gift wrapped with Emmy deserving performances of the 2 main characters, Lauren Graham(Lorelai) & Alexis Bledel(Rory) make this show simply irresistable. It is such a comforting show to watch and has all of the elements of a quality show: humor, wittiness, & drama are poured out in just enough dosages to feel like you have just finished a heap of blueberry pancakes with syrup on top!!

Gilmore Girls puts you in such a great mood and the pop culture references in the dialogue are purely entertainment at its finest. One cannot ask for a better, well-written, & enjoyable show than The Gilmore Girls. If you ever have a bad day or need to smile, just plop in the "Girls" and have a little fun. I can guarantee that you'll be in for a wickedly good time!! Enjoy this gem!!

1st season is so sweet

The 1st season of the Gilmore Girls is so sweet and fresh and innocent. It reminds me of snow. I love it.

Entertaining, if you can stomach the leftiness

Been generally enjoying watching this on DVD; after a while the fast, smartie-pants repartee gets old, but it's still interesting to see how this buddy-buddy theory of raising a kid will work out. The mom isn't a great example to her kid, with her sleeping around, but this is TV. In one episode, however, the liberal bent lurking in the background comes to the fore in a nasty way - for no reason, the mom screams that she hates George Bush. And why? Because of the way he looks! Classic liberal hypocrisy - attacking someone because he looks weird to you, or because he doesn't agree with your views, yet denouncing "lookism". This peeled back the cheery veneer of the show for me, although you knew it already from the joy-hating Korean Christian mom character.

Still, there's not much that looks interesting enough to watch, so ...
