Insightful & Wise

A friend of mine turned me on to Williamson's book because it changed his life. I can understand why. A Return to Love is one of those books that helps one reconsider and rethink their actions in light of a greater love that has the power to re-create. As one who teaches and studies theology, I can appreciate Williamson's realization that only the Spirit has the power to change us. We can come to an understanding of what happens in our lives and why we do what we do. That's simply being rational. However, to change takes something beyond us - a force that renews us with insights and wisdom, which Williamson calls miracles. Indeed they are. Her examples are helpful in understanding what she tries to convey. A great book for those who are ready for it. If you're not, you won't find it helpful. Put it aside and you will return to it when you are ready.

It has changed my life

I couldn't understand "A Course in Miracles" but I could understand "A return to Love". It made it very easy for me. I'm reading it for a second time and paying very close attention to the lessons. It has changed my way of thinking and my life. I am very happy. If everyone read this book, the world would be at peace.

Miracle from return to love

Reading this book helped lead me to the "miracle" of forgiveness I have been trying to find/give for years. Marianne hits on many vein's that need to be opened - love and forgiveness for one's self and others. I am constantly referring back to this book and marking it with my highlighter!

A return to yourself

A must have for anyone on the planet at this time. This wonderful book will make you laugh and cry at yourself and give insight into what we humans are all about in relating to the Divine. Lovely way to open your eyes in the search for a relationship with God.
