Great Music, Great CD!

I've really enjoyed this presentation of "White Christmas". I'm excited to add it to my collection of Christmas CDs! "Snow" is still one of my favorites!

great orchestrations make this a must

The orchestrations for this very delightful cast recording are superb, and more than do justice to such great Irving Berlin songs as It Only Happens When You're Dancing, Blue Skies and the title song. Karen Morrow has never been in better voice in belting out Let Me Sing and I'm Happy.
This is a must for every collector of Broadway cast albums.

Surprisingly excellent recording

An excellent recording of a wonderful score by a group of Broadway pros, accompanied by a full orchestra.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas

Enjoyable CD based on the latest stage version of White Christmas. The sound quality could have been a little better. I saw the show on Boston last year and this a fairly decent recording of the stage show.

Revisting Berlin

This is a good stage recording based on the Paramount hit movie WHITE CHRISTMAS.

The recording captures the energy of the stage performances with the added bonus of added Irving Berlin classics. However, nothing can compare to Rosemary Clooney singing COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS and SISTERS. And, who else but Bing Crosby doing WHITE CHRISTMAS.

But, one can enjoy the recording for its own merits if one is not familiar with the original movie sountrack.
