Outstanding Book!!! It's hard to put down once you start.......

I have read thousands of books on a variety of topics and scores of books concerning UFOs/Flying Saucers/Aliens. This book rates in my top ten for this genre. Jim Marrs did a great job. He provides thorough research references/footnotes etc. so you can pursue the interesting topics that he uncovers in more depth. Anyone interested in alien intelligence on this planet should read this book. As a result of this pleasant reading experience, I have purchased his other books and am looking forward to examining what they contain.

i'm not even done with chapter 1 and i'm already amazed. some have ridiculed this book for starting with proposing that our moon may be a spacecraft put into orbit by aliens. this is a "far out" idea, but jim marrs presents it with evidence. i don't have a belief about whether this is true or not. i'm no brilliant scientist. but i do believe in following the EVIDENCE. and that's why "skeptics" will ridicule this book. REAL skeptics have an OPEN MIND and follow the EVIDENCE. consider how amazing an idea like evolution or the idea that the earth is round and floating in space would seem if you'd been taught something else your whole life. it would seem absolutely ludicrous - impossible!!!! well, other people can deny FACTS all they want, and so far in this book that's what i see marrs presenting - FACTS. not opinions. not far-out theories with no evidence, but theories WITH evidence. that's a little something i like to call SCIENCE. look it up.

anyway, in the first chapter alone, i'm reading about how NASA scientists came in contact with UFO's on the moon and scientists found much evidence of manmade structures on the moon. does marrs just make all this up? no. he takes the evidence from actual NASA documents and conversations!! that's right, our most brilliant, well-trained and observant astronauts have SEEN ALIEN SPACECRAFT. i'm very happy that marrs addresses WHY is our government hellbent on keeping us from the truth? he takes an excerpt from a NASA memo talking about how astronauts should keep UFO evidence from the public that basically says aliens could take over our civilization!!!! can you believe this is being kept from us? it sounds insane.. it sounds like something from the x-files, but the truth is, the x-files sounds tame compared to the truth! our government is so insane that they are apparently considering gearing up to do battle with a superior intelligent race or trying to keep them away from us. wow. our government is idiotic - UFO's have been landing on earth for years with incredible technology whenever they please! i ask you - is the real enemy the aliens, who have done absolutely NOTHING to harm us (and possibly things to help us), or your own american government, which aims to keep the truth from you?

my suspicion is that within 100 years or so, it will just be taken for granted that aliens are real. the evidence is absolutely overwhelming. only someone not using their brain can deny that aliens are real after they read the evidence. i recommend this book and also books by budd hopkins, a wonderful and objective alien researcher.

*EDIT* you know, after the first wonderful chapter, i didn't like the book. one chapter, i don't even remember what it was about, went on and on and ON about crap that didn't even matter as far as aliens or ufo's. it was like reading a history book. then in chapters on things like crop circles etc., well i'd rather read a full book on the individual topics. but it will give you an overview if you want that.

Enthralling

I could not put this book down. I managed to read this book basically non stop until completion. I lent the book to my boss who also read it nearly non stop. My boss read it at night, even while he was starting a new business and trying to organize hundreds of pages of other paperwork!

Mainly this book does a good job at covering everything. It gives you a very strong foundation for the huge conspiracy that is existing today in the world. It does not go into boring dry detail on any one subject, but rather it graces every subject with a tasteful level of detail. I won't spoil it for you, but there is a lot of very interesting facts and famous names that I had never heard before picking up this book. It encompasses much more than simply "alien agenda." This is very worth your money and it deserves a permanent place on your bookshelf.

Good read; not precisely what I expected.

If you're after what the "agenda of Aliens" might hypothetically be, this book's title might be a bit of a misnomer. Despite that, the content was thought-provoking, with well-researched history and events that aren't particularly over-sensationalized. Basically, if you're interested in the subject matter, its a great book to add to your reading list.

Mr Marrs keeps you on the edge of sit. He seems to coax your immagination as you try to anticipate the next revelation.
