A Fun, Easy Book to Read...

This book is about a woman who abandoned her entire life, to re-create herself and find new happiness. The book follows the main character while she pretends to know how to be maid...even though she has no idea how to cook or clean. A romance blossoms, and the writing surrounding it is very descriptive, which makes you want to breeze through the book. This is a great way to dive into Kinsella's writing. This book will have you laughing out loud, and blushing at the same time. Good read!

I hate reading & I loved this book!!

A great light read. I normally hate reading, but I devoured this book! Maybe it's because I'm a lawyer at a big firm like the lead character in this book, so I found it particularly funny for that reason. I think anyone would enjoy it though!

Funny with a light romance. Great read.

This is the first Sophie Kinsella book I have read. I was drawn to it by the main character's initial job. The author has the frantic pace of contract negotiations spot on. I, too, did that job for over twenty years and have chucked it for the life of a real domestic goddess (just ask my husband!) While I did have some of the basics down, for the most part I had to learn or relearn a lot of the things that Samantha does in this book.

Funny, funny, funny. I kept laughing out loud while I was reading - so much so my DH has nabbed the book for his next read. I will certainly be purchasing more of Ms. Kinsella's books in very short order. It is always wonderful to find a new author to enjoy.
