The Face on The Milk Carton
The book I chose to read was The
Face
on the
Milk
Carton
by Caroline Cooney. This entertaining novel is a mystery suspense book, but it a has a little romance also.
Fifteen year old Janie Johnson's life is turned upside down once she discovers that she was kidnapped. Her life becomes revolved around finding out who she is, why she was kidnapped, and if her biological parents are still looking for her. Janie struggles with learning her past and her love life as she gradually matures through the book.
I really liked this book and my impression of it is that the author really thought hard about writing it. It had a suspenseful plot that you could never put down, and the characters where very original. I think this book is for girl readers ages 12 and up.

The
Face
on the
Milk
Carton
is an enjoyable mystery book. In the beginning, Janie Johnson sees her face on the milk carton when she was three years old. This book gets you off on an interesting start. Right from the beginning, all you want to know is "Was Janie kidnapped?" As Janie goes on a quest to find her true identity, Cooney keeps you on the edge of you seat. There are multiple twists in the story that completely changes the plot. Towards the end, the book becomes dry, but not boring. The Face on the Milk Carton becomes predictable. I was disappointed with the ending, but I would still recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a quick and easy read.

The Face on the Milk Carton
I read The
Face
on the
Milk
Carton
, by Caroline B. Cooney. It is a realistic fiction novel. It is about a girl named Janie who one day sees a picture of herself on the back of a milk carton that says she is missing. She has loving parents, and cannot believe that they would kidnap her. She starts having memories of the past, with who she thinks might be her "real family." She also finds the dress from the picture on the milk carton, in her attic. She goes to her boyfriend Reeve, but does not have the heart to tell her parents. She had always wondered where any baby pictures were, and where her birth certificate was. Is this the reason? Does she really have another family? What will happen to Janie Johnson?
I liked this book very much. It was suspenseful and kept you guessing what would happen. I think this book is best suited for people who like sadder stories, and people who like to guess what will happen next.

The Face On The Milk Carton!!!!!!!!!`
This book was fun, yet some what boring. If you like mysteries this is the book for you! Here is what this book is about--
Janie Johnson is a pretty normal kid. Life is at its finest when one day at lunch Janie took a quick glimpse of the missing child on the
milk
carton
. She recognized the white dress in the photograph and the tight dark brown pig tails on the little girl. Could this little girl in this picture be her? This little girl who had had been kidnaped in a New Jersey shopping center? Janie was overcome with shock. How could this possibly be true? No way could her loving parents who had been at her side her entire life (or most of her life anyway) had driven all the way out to New Jersey to kidnap her. But if they did kidnap her, are Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Janie's real parents? If not, who is Janie Johnson, and what really happened?
