Mo Willems, comic genius

Pigeon is a modern classic. Everyone in our house from age 4-38 loves to read this book. You won't tire of reading it over and over, either. It's a great book to use to work on reading with expression with early readers. Mo Willems is a comic genius. We are all big fans!

My 83-year-old mom and I have had hours of giggling fun as a result of buying several copies of this treasure (one for the little nephew and then one for each of us). The illustrations are fresh and direct; you might recognize yourself in the pigeon's antics! This book is the best of Mo Willems.

Great quotes!

My 3-yr old son got this book recently and he's got it just about memorized... he loves how the pigeon tries to negotiate and just the other day, my son says to me "PLLLEEAASEE!!???!!! I'll be your best friend! I'll give you five bucks." just like the pigeon. We also have "Don't let the Pigeon Stay up Late" which is just as charming.

Warning for parents

I really like this book I just feel like it should have some sort of warning that it promotes temper tantrums, grand theft auto, and peer pressure.
