Stimulates thought
Dr. Costanzo is definitely a great teacher. This book has really helped me out a lot, I've even recommended to all my friends who are planning to go to medical school. The online feature is a great companion, and for the price, nothing beats it! If you are a first time
physiology
student, I recommend this as a supplement text.
This is the Physio Book
I used this book as an MS1 and it saved my ut in physio. Now in combination with Rapid
Review
Pathology is the prefect way to get the material together that you need for the
Board
s!
You cannot go into the Boards without ever using this book- it's just that good!

Excellent bare facts in human physiology
very easy to read and follow, exellent summary of the essential facts and good practice questions good for preparing of any postgraduate exams in
physiology
highly recommended
not enough information
I love the BRS because it concisely covers every topic, is very reader friendly, and does not take too much time.
I am giving it four stars because I wish I had discovered Costanzo's other
physiology
book much earlier. BRS is too condensed for the information to go to your long term memory. Costanzo's other book has much more information and I wish I had gotten that along with BRS.

Good Overview
This is a great book for
review
- however, my prof went into way more detail than what this book covers. I think it will be helpful for
board
s, but I still needed a physio text for med school.
