Ok, so this book is targeted to older youth and young adults, but don't let that fool you. If you've been walking with the Lord for many years, this book is bound to rekindle a walk with the Lord that is just embers. I was on fire by the time I finished this book. It really pumped me up, had me thinking about my current career and exactly how was I living my life for the Lord. If you need a little re-charge, I hightly recommend this book.

A much needed call to action

This book has had a tremendous impact on me. Piper makes very clear that unless one aims for the highest, one's life lacks unity and much of it is wasted. If you are not prepared to risk all for Christ, don't read this book. If you want your life to count, then this book will be very motivating for you.

this book will give you a sense of freedom and purpose. It is life changing.

A Wake-Up Call -- for Life, with focus on Missions

A powerful and gripping book, which awakens you to get your act together (or more plainly put, butt in gear) -- thus "Don't Waste Your Life." The first several chapters are compelling. However, the book as a whole is very specific in focus (i.e. global missions oriented, as indicated in the last chapter) and can be quite narrow in scope and viewpoint, which is not practical for every day application.
It is recommended that readers know Piper is addressing missions through this book.
