Genuinely stirred to change and be more honest

I am continually amazed at how life-changing Craig Groeschel's messages can be. This book is simple in its approach but astounding in that it succeeds in dropping all the superficial masks and guises we paint ourselves with in regards to holiness and "churchianity."

This book brings you back to the crux of Christianity and the biggest struggle we must overcome: our own mistakes and trials.

This book will not leave you unchanged.

Ahh...another book by Craig Groeschel! Man, I can't tell you how much this man's love and dedication to the Lord has inspired a new found love for the Lord in my life! I spent my childhood years as a "believer" of Christ; however, college and early adulthood found me living as a "non-believer. Often times, individuals who do not work in the ministry feel as if they are inferior to those individuals who do the Lord's work on a regular basis...Craig shows us that even the truly faithful struggle to keep pure thoughts, pray daily, and live the "Christian" lifestyle. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who longs for a better relationship with their heavenly father...and I do mean everyone! God Bless Craig Groeshel and his family.

A truthful look at life

This book was tremendous! I am a new believer and was amazed at Craig Groeschel's ability to make me feel like God loves me even if I am flawed. I began to feel like I am not terrible for being who I am. This book is honest and open. It looks at life from a real perspective, that people are going to sin, that they are flawed. I will be looking for more books from Pastor Craig Groeschel

Its like looking in a mirror

I found myself reading portions of this book out loud to my preacher husband. We were able to identify with the human emotions and experiences of this pastor and his family. Craig's honesty and his confessions were endearing. He is a gifted story teller which makes for very good reading.

Craig Groeschel shows he's a REAL person....

Very easy and interesting reading. Craig tells it like it is and for that I'm thankful to have him in my life as a Christian. Reading the words from a man that is devoted to God and helping others, it's comforting to hear that even he has overcome major obstacles and struggles in his life. In this day and age, it's so hard to truly believe in those who claim to be Christians and Leaders of the Church - in reality these people have so many deamons and continue to live in deception!!! Way to go Craig - God Bless You and remember, God is Good!!!
