Great book!!!!

This is a great book that offers you a chance to learn about a variety of topics. It's a great starting point if you want to learn about something new but don't even know where to begin. The read is easy and exciting.

the intellectual devotional: American History

this is a great book about anything and everything you want to know about American History on a daily basis. Just a little bit and not too much. Now I can feel really intelligent!

Entertaining and informative

The Intellectual Devotional --I look forward to reading each day's information. It covers seven different topics each week. For example, science might be the usual Thursday topic with music being dealt with on Fridays. I have already learned things that I did not know previously, and I reread the topics later in the day to "digest" them better. The information is not too "heavy" and is clearly stated. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to expand his or her knowledge base. It also encourages further reading, if one is particularly taken by a certain topic.

Excellent!

This book is excellent for whomever wants to learn more on a very broad range of subjects. It gives you just enough to peak class="textlinks">your interest into reading more on the subject if you haven't all ready. It's also excellent for being able to speak with people and at least being able to talk with them on almost any subject.

big ideas, tiny print

I really enjoy the information. My husband and I take turns reading outloud. However, the type is very small and we find ourselves squinting sometimes as we read!
