This is what I wanted to hear...WOW
After listening to and trashing LA LUNA because, well...it was trash, I slipped in this disc. Folks, there is a difference between night and day, fire and water, Sarah and Sarah.
I had heard a couple of tracks on SKY.FM and wasn't sure which cd to order. I let other people's opinion influence my decision. I read the reviews on Amazon and, quite frankly, it appears now that there are quite a few Sarah Bingham fans writing the reviews. They would praise her effort as if she was attempting to sing underwater while in reality she was gasping for air.
Several hours went by before I would even attempt to hear another of her songs. That is how painful I found LA LUNA.
This disc was quite a revelation into an incredible angelic voice. I believe this is the true Sarah, the music she was meant to sing. I found LA LUNA to be too contrived, too much fluff, and too predictable. Duets on this CD are wonderful featuring Andrea Bocelli and one that I am not familiar with, Jose Cura.
This is what I wanted to hear...a strong voice, strong arrangements (how can you screw up the London Symphony Orchestra), and a stellar song selection. You will stop dead in your tracks once you hear her celestial rendition of IN PACE. Where did this voice come from...only from above.
I would like to think that she had a lot of fun making this recording. Lots of preparation, lots of practice, lots of rehearsals. The end result is something truly worthy of any classical collection. And I am not a classical fanatic. I listen to anything, any era, any genre, any style or origin. In order to appreciate music you need to experience music...all music.
I think that if you had to select one cd as a worthwhile representation of her range and capabilities, this would be the one to start out with.
You will appreciate and enjoy this disc.

No One like Her! Listening Sarah in this album it's relaxing. It lifts my spirit!!!
Brava Sarah!
This is undoubtedly my favorite CD of the last decade and definitely Sarah Brightman's best effort to date! Her duets with Andrea Bocelli and Jose Cura are outstanding! I especially love 'O mio babbino caro', Alleluja', and 'La Wally'. Sarah's uniquely sensual style is evident in the incredibly beautiful 'Bilitis - Generique', 'No One Like You' and 'Just Show Me How To Love You'. Close your eyes and drift away...
It is highly unusual for me to like every song on a CD, but on '

It's long past time for a sequel to this wonderful album!
