Unique Mystery

Wow. What a book. There are more twists and turns in this one than a garden maze. Woods once again produces a magnificent work. He manages to combine some really original ideas with some elemental suspense elements to create a sensational thriller, that, for all of its originality manages to maintain its plausibility. The mental imagery invoked by this novel kept me awake for more than a few nights. You won't be able to put it down. And when you do finish, you won't be able to sleep.

Excellent Book

This book takes Stone Barrington from detective to lawyer. It was so interesting. This is a great charactor. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great mystery. Easy to get into and not a boring page. Stuart Woods is one of my favorite authors as I have now read five of his books and plan on reading them all. Don't miss this one.

Outstanding!

This is the second of the Stone Barrington series I've read. (Worst Fears Realized was the first.) I simply couldn't put it down. With action from beginning to end as well as plot twists that hit you from all different angles, this book if oneo f the best I've read. One thing to note; it is not for the faint of heart. Woods has a knack for the descriptive that makes his work not only addictive, but very realistic. You'll feel like you are right there in the book.

Great book, what a twist

I suppose some people saw the ending coming. I didn't. I haven't had a nightmare from reading a book in 15 years. I did last night. Absolutely great from beginning to end.

First novel for me, I read this at sixteen back in 93'.......I've been reading, and reading ever since. Superb suspence.
