Loved it!
Korn
has been my favorite band since 1998 so this is the reason I wanted to buy the book, because "Head" wrote it and I knew it just had to be interesting because of the Korn stories that are in it. The writing is excellent, easy to read and I was easily addicted to it and I'm NOT an avid reader! He
tell
s his
story
so bluntly and that's what I loved about it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an interesting read about his rock n' roll/crazy/turbulent journey.
A Real Inspiration
Brian "Head" Welch really turned his life around and this book
tell
s all about it. When I first heard he
quit
Korn
I thought it was so lame. Then I began going through some incredibly difficult times with
drugs
, anger and a very abusive relationship. My counselor recommended this book to me. My parents bought it for me for my birthday. I read it cover to cover two times. Man, Brian and I have so much in common. This book really touched and inspired me. It is amazing
how
God
really helped Brian turn his life around. This testimony helped me to decide to let God turn my life around also. Things have been getting better and better day by day. Thank you, Brian. I think every tattooed and pierced metal freak needs to read this book. God still loves us and can use us. Blessings to all!

Amazing story
Brian Welch
tell
s the truth. In a book that is written
from
his soul Welch does not seek to make himself look like a hero. He simply gives an account of his life, good and bad. His writing style is easy to read and is very inspiring. I would gladly read another book written by Mr. Welch.
Book Review
I would recommend this book to anybody in recovery or to somebody who believes they have had a spirtual experience. A bit slow at the beginning when it discusses the subject's childhood but otherwise entertaining.
You do not necessarily need to be a
Korn
fan to enjoy this book. I would not describe
myself
as a fan of the band and I still enjoyed the stories of the band and them being on tour.
