Give me more, more, more!

I love Sex and the City and I loved this book, I didn't want to end. The photos are great and there are a lot of behind the scenes photos. The book goes into great depth about the show, the characters, the actresses, the clothes, the set, and the locations. It doesn't have any photos of Season Six part two but it gives a brief rundown of what happened. This book is a must for any Sex and the City fan and is also a great addition to your book collection.

This book is AWESONE! It talks with each of the actors, actresses, directors, producers, EVERYONE! There is a little synopsis of what happens in each episode and a segment on the making of the 'splash' scene you see at the beginning of each episode. The book also tells about each of the girl's apartments and how they were set up to fit each ones character. It has GREAT color photos and even has a 'date' line of each of the girls - who they did and didn't 'do' - AND a map of where different scenes were shot in Manhattan so you can visit them yourself. Even if you have seen all the episodes, you will learn something new about someone. There is also a trivia quiz and a SATC glossary in the back of the book. What more could you ask for?!?!

An indepth and wondeful tribute.

This book could so easily have been a glossy but empty attempt to cash in the incredibly successful series, thankfully it is not!
This seems largely to be due to the fact the series emerged from sharp, witty and perfectly pitched writing so a book about the series in same ilk, is the most fittng tribute now the girls are no longer on our screens.
It features all any hard core fan could want, origins and formulations of characters, script ideas, character profiles, interviews with the main stars, a catalogue of past and present partners and a wonderful catalogue of, "who wore what and when?" (which includes Carrie's infamous shoe collection).
It is a lovely indulgent and multi-faceted read, much like a devilishly good box of chocolates! Destined to become a classic and sort after book, once the print run is over, so get yours now!

MORE SEX

I got this book for christmas, and its one of my favorite gifts. Its filled with tons of information about the show, the stars and the charaters. Beautiful color pictures are just an icing. This is a must have for any "Sex..." fan.
The book contains sections for each season thats broken down into all the episodes with pictues, cast commentary and quotes from those episodes.
I found it interesting to see biographies about the characters and not just the actors who played them. There are trivia questions that let's you test your "Sex" knowledge.
It's a beautiful book to have as an addition to the "Sex" collection.

A little misleading...

So I'm a huge SATC fan. My roommate and I watch a different season every weekend. I was bound to buy the book.

Being the huge fan of SATC that I am I soon came to realize that the book has quite a few inaccuracies that I've found.

First off it claims to be updated to cover the Sixth Season. This isn't so. It goes through the first HALF of the Sixth Season. So it doesn't cover Season 6 Part 2 episodes. The closest that it gets is vaguely alluding to the fact that Charlotte will adopt a baby.

Secondly, in the "who they slept with" section it says that Carrie didn't sleep with a guy in the first episode who she definitely did if you watch the episode.

These were errors that I discovered within 15 minutes of receiving the book from Amazon, I'm sure there are more. All in all the book has a lot of interesting articles, interviews and information... but with some blatant flaws and errors that I hope will be corrected in the next edition.
