Scholarly, Evangelical, and Readable
Marshall, Travis, and Paul join together to write on of the finest introductory texts on the
New
Testament
I've ever read. They take seriously issues such as the authorship of some of the New Testament
letters
(Ephesians, Colossians, the Pastorals, and the Petrine epistles) instead of ignoring the issue as many evangelicals do. I highly recommend this book over any other New Testament introduction for one who considers themself an evangelical. If you don't - still pick it up, its very readable and packed with useful information.
Great find
I was glad to find a book that gave so much information in a way the average person could grasp it. It is easy reading and many mini tests to check your retainability on the lessons covered, allowing you to build your knowledge from one lesson to another.
