YES, this book contains the love letters that were in the Sex and the City movie. The book that was in the movie does not exist, but this edition has the letters from the movie, plus MANY more. Furthermore, this is the only edition that contains the Beethoven letter in its original language as read in the movie, not modernized. It also includes a complete Table of Contents and superior formatting.

Wonderful Love Letters in a Beautiful Book

Wonderful collection of love letters. The book itself is beautiful with the old fashioned quill and rose on the front cover. The interior is just as pretty. The names appear to be calligraphy, but it's regular print.

I was especially excited to see the letters are the originals. They are not put in modern terms.

I'm going to have to order another one since my friend borrowed it and she won't bring it back to me.

Beautiful and Inspiring

I adore this book, and the theme behind it. As a romantic at heart and as one of those girls that would love to believe in true love, this book confirms to me that it is actually possible to find your soul mate. Now I'm not saying this book is for the people that want to read about happily ever after's, because in reality most of these love letters a dated and back when Beethoven was in love with the imfamous "Immortal Beloved" people did always get to have a happily ever after. The letter's are more based on the Romeo and Juliet scenario. You find your true love but you are destined to forever be apart. However, those facts do not take away from the remarkable truth that these letter's were written by real people for real people, and while reading them you can find yourself trasported to that place and time, and feel just as loved and adored.

Beautiful

This book has all of the love letters from the SATC movie that I was looking for. It's a beautiful edition.

Immortal Beloved

For those only interested in this book because of the SATC movie the letter varies slightly. I'm not sure that many people know that it is a great mystery whom the "immortal beloved" is referring to by Beethoven. There are many theories about who "immortal beloved" is and there is even a movie about it...but no one knows. I love that. I love to read that letter and I feel like I am given a brief glimpse into someone's secret heart and I wonder how she felt about him.

The book was not what I expected as it said it was the one used on Sex and the City Movie and I could not find the letters used on the movie in the book so disappointing.
