Chapters include: Careers in Adolescent Development; Puberty, Health, and Biological Foundations; The Brain and Cognitive Development; The Self, Identity, Emotions, and Personality; Gender; Sexuality; Moral Development, Values, and Religion; Families; Peer and Romantic Relationships; Schools; Achievement, Work, and Careers; Culture; Problems in Adolescent and Emerging Adulthood. Certain sections have been expanded upon for the twelfth edition.
