Impressed

I was very impressed with the material presented in the Portales Textbook. The vocabulary and grammer sections provide a wonderful basis for developing and broadening those skills and confidence for communicating effectively with spoanish speakers. The lessons regarding the culture are very enriching and also provide those of us interested in learning about the spanish speaking world, an insider's view.
Whether you are planning a trip to a spanish speaking country, or just want to learn the language, I definitely reccommend this book. I also must add that this book is for those individuals who have already been exposed to the language for at least three or four years.
