It's gorgeous!

The designs are so pretty and it's so much fun to color this book!! It always comes out really nice! The only problem is the printing on both sides.... But it's ok, I use coloring pencils and it's just fine!
I'm really happy with it and I highly recommend!!!

Great Paisleys with Modern Flair

I purchased this coloring book with the primary intention to develop my own designs for purses I am developing for my business - those with a 1960s-1970s flair. Yes, some are wild, as to be expected, others have a quality that can definitely be modified to fit my needs. Yet, I am also drawn to color them in and by first scanning the images (or I suppose get several more books), I can test color combinations to see what works. It is definitely fun, productive (for my business), and a stress reducer. Marty Noble's Coloring Book lines through Dover are of a higher quality in design and content (few, if any duplicates - interesting patterns - quality paper), but are printed on both sides of the paper. Yet when scanning, the paper is of high quality so the reverse image doesn't come through.

Therefore - great book for the creative designs (artists) and stress reducer (for the coloring book crowd...and it is growing...we are all becoming kids again!).

Great designs!

I recently ordered 4 adult coloring books. Of the 4, this Paisley Designs book caught my eye first. I've colored three pictures in this book so far and plan to color many more. I feel the designs are creative and varied. The designs are on both sides of the pages and some have very teeny, tiny details that need to be colored in. A sharp pencil is a must. Because some of the areas are so small, I am considering purchasing a magnifying product for future coloring projects.

At first, I used my old colored pencils, but found it difficult to keep a point on them. I purchased Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils and had a much easier time coloring the tiny spaces that are in some of the designs. I also put a piece of notebook paper directly behind the page I'm coloring to protect those pages. I found that the black ink used in the book transfers onto the other coloring pages. The black ink is transferred onto the notebook paper instead, which keeps the other coloring pages neater.

I'm having fun with this book and can't wait til I have time to color another picture.

Beautiful designs that let your creativity flow.

Having many dover adult coloring books I was excited to see Amazon had so many new ones, if fact they must have every one Dover makes. I took advantage of 4 for 3. These patterns somewhat look the same but they are not. You have endless choices to be creative.

You many want to get some of the verithin Primsicolor pencils Amazon has as these are very intricate.

It is a great way to relax and calm down in the evening before bed.

I highly recommend the entire line of Dover coloring books, there is something for just about everyone's taste.
