it is what it is. now obsolete. i'd buy the "missing manual" series if i were to buy another photoshop guide.

I took an online Photoshop CS2 class from my local college and was looking for further Photoshop skills. This book reinforces the online lessons I received on the Introductory and Intermediate levels. Well written and easy to follow if you already have some knowledge of Photoshop. Very useful as a refresher book and applies specifically to the Photoshop CS2 application.

Very good beginner book

Bought it to learn the basics of creating GIFs. Simple and to the point!

This book is always a great teaching aid to the very complex program of Photoshop. This book has lots of examples and various ways of completing the same task. Although the book is very wordy and covers a lot, one is still able to complete the examples and understand the information fairly easily.
