Here is the perfect gift for young children learning their colors, shapes, and numbers. All four of Eric Carle?s popular new split-page board books are now packaged together in a slipcased library. A game as well as a learning experience, these early concept books are both fun and smart.

Children can turn the top pages independently from the bottom pages, creating a matching game that offers all the charm of Eric Carle?s bright collage illustrations. Collected here are My Very First Book of Colors, My Very First Book of Shapes, My Very First Book of Numbers, and My Very First Book of Words. Irresistible fun for young hands and minds!

Eirc Carle for toddlers

This is a great collection of books. It literally has a number of ways to use them and will grow with your child.

Wonderful !

This collection of Eric Carle is one of my favorites. I gave it to a friend for her sons first birthday. It will hold up since the book material is sturdy & great for small fingers to hold on to. The illustrations are beautiful with colors that young children enjoy!
You will be pleased with this collection. Start reading with your child when they are young~ it is a gift for a lifetime!

We love Eric Carle

These books are so cute. A real gem for any child. My oldest is 10 and she still can't part with her Eric Carle books!

bright and fun for kids

it is a good purchase, my kid love to see and hear me read the books. she will love to read it herself very soon.

Love Eric Carle but this is for older toddlers/children

I love the "My Very First Library" by Eric Carle concept but my daughter is only 11 months old and it's a little above her "reading" level just yet. The pages are divided in half making it hard for her to turn the pages so she just goes on to the next book. The books are about colors, shapes, etc. and you have to match the top of the page with the bottom of another page and I believe it requires a higher level of motor skills. Therefore, if you looking for Eric Carle books and have an infant or young toddler, I would go with the "Brown Bear & Friends" board book set, it's perfect for this age.
