Walter
Kitty
is no ordinary housecat. He's Fang?a swashbuckling protector of the high seas, a tiger waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey, and a caped superhero ready to save the day. But do his "people," Mr. and Mrs. Biddle, acknowledge his greatness? Not even!
So once in a good long while, Walter will answer to Wally or Kitten or even Snookums, but most of the time . . . he's Fang!
With a hilarious text by Barbara Jean Hicks and fabulously fun illustrations by Dan Santat, Walter Kitty is one cat readers will not soon forget!
Fabulous read
This book is entirely too cute. If you are a cat person, you will definitely relate and be delighted by the charming story and wonderful illustrations. I would not recommend this as a read for very young children, but kids 8+ are likely to be quite entertained. Adults, though, will really be pleasantly surprised by the wit, whimsy, and charm of this book.

Imaginative Adventure Book, Fast Delivery
Nice story for imaginative 4-5 year olds who enjoy adventure cartoons. Book was in excellent condition upon arrival.
Very fast delivery. Very satisfied.
Funny to mom, anyway.
I enjoy reading this book and think it's pretty funny. My very literal son, on the other hand, spends most of the time asking me why the man looks so mad. This is probably a good book for the 4 and older set.
Pretty good but not the best
I bought this book for my nephews, almost 2 and 4. The 4-year old said he really liked it, but I think it was a little too much for the 2-year old. Understanding the story requires combining listening to the story (or reading, if your child can read himself) and looking at the pictures, which I think was a bit too hard for the almost 2-year old. The pictures are really nice, but I was kind of hoping for a little more substance in the story. So, overall, this is a good children's book, but it's not the best one I've read.

Great Story Idea
I love the idea of this book, it's very funny. As a any one who's ever had a cat knows, cats always look like they have something else really important going on. The illustrations are great. As a the reader I do not think this book flows very well between

and his

life, BUT my 3-year old son really enjoys the story and it's a children's book, so that's what counts.
