Very Good Lecture

This is a very good lecture series about The American Revolution. It's like bringing a "history class" into your car or home! Dr. Ellis presents his topic interestingly. Email:boland7214@aol.

Informative - but less content than expected

I enjoyed this CD package very much and learned a good deal. The insights on to the start of the American Revolution (Economic and Legal reasons) were fascinating. Professor Ellis is clearly knowledgable and the course is well-researched. He speaks in a very clear and friendly tone, which makes listening a positive experience.

The one significant problem is the lack of content - while there are 8 CDS, so much of the courses are padded with outlining what the course will cover - and what the course has previously covered. Throw out the whole first CD it's a waste of time - and basically the first lecture in each section is usually just an outline of what is to come. It is very annoying.
