Addictive though painful.

I looooved Twilight, but this book was much harder for me to read. Having gone through something similar to what Bella went through during her dark months, this portion of the book made me just cry and cry, touching every old wound... Meyer's ability to make the emotions reach out from the pages and touch your very soul leaves me in awe.

So, heart-wrenching, depressing, amazing.

A Must Read!

I loved this book. It made me cry more than once as I could feel the longing, aching, and confusion that Bella felt throughout the majority of the novel. It ended well and made me go out and purchase the last 2 books in the series right away. There isnt much about vampires throughout the core of this story but the side story that develops is beautiful and makes you want to read on to find out what happens next.

interesting once again

I read the first book in 3 days and couldn't wait to read the second. And I was not disappointed. The story drags in certain parts but the closer it got to the end, the better it got. I hear a lot of bad reviews, but I feel everyone should just make up their own minds on these books, and I will be reading the 3rd one soon.
