"Health Is a Choice . . . Elizabeth had chronic fatigue for eight years and suffered from debilitating arthritis for which she took powerful pain medications. Despite numerous trips to medical doctors and alternative practitioners, her pain and exhaustion left her unable to work. Then she learned about Ray Francis's miraculous work. Within a few months, her pain was gone and her energy soared. A year later she returned to work, making a six-figure income. ""Raymond gave me my life back,"" she said. Albert suffered from ""untreatable"" depression for nearly ten years, which left him suicidal. After meeting Ray Francis, Albert learned that his diet of processed foods and addiction to sugar were the crux of his problem. Within one week after implementing Francis's eating plan, he felt better physically and looked forward to a long, healthy life. Three-year-old Anne experienced inexplicable seizures. Examined by a dozen specialists, she had been treated with antiseizure medication to no avail. In desperation, her parents consulted with Ray Francis who surmised that her newly painted, carpeted and furnished bedroom was a toxic soup. After sleeping in another room, Anne's seizures stopped. Today she is a normal, healthy child. These people learned how to choose health over illness; wellness over disease-and so can you. Health doesn't happen by chance, but by choice, and you can take steps now to ensure that you will live free of the diseases that plague our society. A life-threatening medical condition led Ray Francis, a chemist and graduate of MIT, to formulate a revolutionary theory of health and disease: there is only one disease, only two causes of disease, and six pathways to health and disease. His findings and astounding recovery supported his conclusion that almost all diseases can be both prevented and reversed. This remarkable book is health in one lesson. It cuts through the confusion, demystifies disease and gives you answers to these questions: What is health? What is disease? Why do people get sick? How can disease be prevented? How can it be reversed? Through provocative case studies and cutting-edge scientific research, you will learn an entirely new way to look at health and disease. It is an approach that is easy to understand, yet so powerful that you may, indeed, never have to be sick again. "
Witness to the theory
My Daughter has SLE (lupus), diagnosed at age 12. Now at 17 she has been in remission for more than a yr and 1/2. I give the the credit to paying attention to the advice given in this book. We did food allergy testing. Which dairy and wheat were the top culprits. After a year of avoiding these foods. She tested negative for disease. She takes supplements regularly. Dr. Francis is intimate about his products and research for he owes his life and others to this theory.
Never be sick again
I like the book,it is a way to live and what you should eat so you will never be sick again.Eugene Loker
Everyone should read this book.
This is one of the best books on health I have ever read. I have been reasearching natural health for almost three years and this book has everything I have learned in one place and so much more. Raymond Francis has taken a very complex subject and made it easy to understand.
Finally
Finally, after 18 years of living with chronic illness, I'm getting answers to the one big question that everyone who suffers with disease asks: WHY?
Finally, some acceptable answers, something that makes sense, and something that challenges us to take responsibility and quit blaming our problems on fate, genetics, or karma.
I love this book. It just makes so much flippin' sense.
