Excellent recording of The Merry Widow. This opera was produced by the Dallas Opera recently and I wanted the CD to remind me.

The Merry Widow

The film arrived before the promised date, it was in very good condition and has already afforded many hours of delightful entertainment.

No English Sub=titles

The diction of the singers was not sufficient to permit satisfactory understanding the dialog and lyrics. Musically it was very pleasant and the staging was fine. The absence of English subtitles was a great disappointment
