Palm PDA
I am very happy with my new
Palm
TX. It does much more than I expected. I can load docs, spreadsheets, and Powerpoints on it. Also it picked up all my e-mail settings from Outlook along with the contacts. The vender gave me the latest version of Docs to Go. Very good. I bought PowerChurch PDA and use it to take my membership info with me to Church budget meetings etc. I especially like the Wi-Fi access and wireless network availablity. All in all it does everything I need and more.

Palm TX
I have been very happy with my purchase of the
Palm
TX. It is a replacement for a Palm LifeDrive. It much lighter and performs faster. I have no complaints.
PDA FOR NURSING
This is a great asset in nursing, you have needed information right at the bedside. Considering my patients I prefer to use this for work only instead of a blackberry phone. I have loaded my TX with Nursing software but for some reason my TX keeps shutting down especially when I click on Office documents. I had to restart it several times from the reset button. Other than that it's a great working tool for me and works great with my MAC.

It's fine.
I had the Tungsten E prior to this, which I loved, and I killed it too soon by trying to charge it overseas.
This TX cost over double what I paid for my previous
Palm
and I just didn't see much of a difference. It plays MP3s, that's why I chose it over the T2. And the playlists are nice and easy to set up. Unfortunately it seems static-y. I've seen other reviews with the same complaint. It's not the headphones since they work fine in my iRiver.
In addition, a number of my old programs either don't work at all on this device, or they don't look good because the screen has different dimensions. Oddly, they took out a workspace for writing in so as to make the screen bigger. But in one of the options, you can have that exact workspace back, only lit. So for someone like me who is used to using that workspace, all that results in is using up the battery faster!
Some reviews mentioned that the power button sticks. I have noticed this too, but so far, after a month, it hasn't been an actual problem. If it doesn't turn on the first time, press it again.
To be fair, I haven't tried the bluetooth or wi-fi. Maybe they make the price worth it, I don't know.
So overall, it's everything I liked about my old Palm, but not much else! If you're thinking of upgrading, I'd wait. I would have if I'd had the choice.
