The Direct TV 2
Bay
UHF
antenna
by
Eagle
Aspen
receives all UHF channels.
Excellent reception
Great reception from this
antenna
- it's mounted in a basement utility room (on the 'wrong' side on the furnace/water heater) approx 25 miles from the broadcast towers, and pulls in all the channels with a 'full signal' on my TV. I was expecting to have to mount it in an attic or outside, but it works great where it is.
Only downside is there is only one mounting clamp which would make me apprehensive if I did have to mount it outside. Also the included Balon will only work if you are crimping your own connector/cable. The instructions were also hard to read, but assembly was fairly straightforward.
Excellent product for the price, especially when compared with the Antennas Direct DB2

excellent little antenna
I bought this thing a couple months ago and no longer have cable tv and i really don't miss it. I have a sanyo 50 inch plasma in living room and the reception is great. What is amazing is that we live really far from orlando fl all the way out in the country and we get crystal clear hd stations. Also the
antenna
is sitting inside the house on a room divider, i would reccomend this product to anyone.
Works great
Works great. i live like 5 miles from towers and always have full reception on digital tv.
Works well on UHF not so much VHF
I live in the Sierra mountains and thought there was a slight chance of receiving
an HD tv station. The
antenna
was well packaged and quickly shipped.
I wasn't expecting to receive any stations because of the trees, mountains and distance to the HD towers.
Hooked it up and pointed it where I guessed the towers were. Much to my surprise I picked up 3
UHF
stations I didn't know existed, but not the 3 network stations I was hoping for. 2 of the unknown stations were in Spanish.
The stations were channels 27, 27-3 and 26. Looked at the antenna box and it clearly says UHF. The 3 network stations are channel 4,7 and 8. All VHF frequences.
So I'm now shopping for a UHF and Low VHF antenna.
This antenna works great it's me that deserves 1 star.

Much improved reception.
Got this because we live near an intersection and get lots of reflections when trucks stop at the light. It greatly improved drop outs when I propped it up next to the wall. I'm going to move it to the attic and hope it will eliminate all my reception problems. I'm located about 4 miles from most of the area towers.
I also took it to a summer home, 35+ miles from most towers. I had only been able to get one station (and it was broadcasting in Spanish). With the
Eagle
I got a couple more though the converter seemed to be trying to pick up about 5 or six more. Not what I had hoped for. I think if this was a multiple element
antenna
it might do the trick. Unfortunately Eagle
Aspen
doesn't seem to make a larger model and I'll have to try the Db4.
