LOVE IT!! Can't beat the price!
I bought this for my son when he was 14 months old. He loves to rough house and wrestle and I wanted something to help get his energy out. He is now 19 months (and 30 lbs.) and still loves it!
Here is my experience:
THE SMELL: I opened and unfolded the toy and put it in the garage for a few hours. I just couldn't wait to get it set up so I brought it in the house later that afternoon and it was fine.
SET UP: It took forever to blow up but it is worth it! I used a bike hand-pump that I had.
BALL
S: The product only comes with enough balls to just about cover the bottom. I let my son
play
with it like this for a while because he had just started to walk and wanted a firm footing. A month later I added a pack of 200 balls a now he can dive in.
SIZE: It is HUGE! We have a spare room that we are able to keep this in. It is not worth setting up and taking down. If you don't have a play room or if your child's room is small I would pass on this item.
FUN FACTOR: my son and all the kids (toddlers) that come over LOVE this toy. I let them have at it. They dive over each side and over each other. It is SO FUN to watch them play!! I'm not a big fan of ball
pit
s in public play areas because of the sanitary issues. I'm glad we have our own that it is perfectly clean.
AGE: I think is is a great toy for 1-3 year olds. Two neighbor boys come and play and they are 3 and 5. The item has held up but I would not purchase it for older kids.
I'm not sure why it says
slide
because there isn't one, maybe they wan't you to "slide in" and not jump in because it doesn't come with enough balls to do so.
We have had this toy for 5 months. I have only had to add more air a few times and it is going strong. Overall it is worth the money. It is the BEST $25 I have ever spent!!!!!!!!!

Ball
Pit
PROS: good quality & design for the money, decent size & color, easy to setup.
CONS: not enough balls, no suitable for older kids, not for outdoor use.
We get this over 5 weeks ago, and it is holding up pretty good. We have purchased more than 5 other ball pits in the past year for my now almost 3 years old grandson, and they all built with the same type of material, and it is only good for used indoor.
We used an air compressor to inflate the first ball pit we bought, and popped the seams because of over inflation. We invested $40 for a really good air pump from Amazon, and I have had no problem with all the ball pits(5 more in the past 11 months) we bought since then. Yes, I let my grandson choose the ball pit he wants to play with every time he comes visit us.
I am not an expect, but we learned that:
(1) Never used an air compressor, or tire inflator to inflate any inflatable toys of this kind. You will "bust" the seams like we did. We invested in a good quality air pump designed for inflatable toys, so you will never over-inflate the toy.
(2) Never over-inflate each of the "air compartments". All ball pits we bought in the past year came with multiple air compartments, and after 100's of inflations, I learned to slightly under-inflate the air compartments, and add air later if needed. This is even more important when you inflate the ball pit the first time, because you need to let the material to stretch during the first use.
(3) Never inflate the ball pit when it is cold to the touch. One of the ball pits we bought last Christmas came with a big sticker on the box from the dealer, warning us not to immediately inflate the toys when we received it. They suggested to carefully unfold the toy and let it warmed up to room temperature, or used a medium setting hair-dryer to warm up the material before inflation. Great suggestion!
(4) Teach your kid(s) or grandkids(in our case) to take good care of their toys. I told my grandson if he do not "be nice & gentle" to his toy, the toy will "die". He is having a great time with his toys, and so did we.
(5) Have a good quality repair "patch" kit handy. Not the sticker type, but the one with the glue type. No matter how careful you are, you will get a few holes here and there, and the patch kit really helps to fix small holes and cuts. You can find one at your local Ace hardware store, or buy one thru Amazon or Ebay. Get a couples, it only cost a few bucks each. It is well worth the money to see your grandson's sad face turned happy again.
Hope you find the above suggestions helpful, and good luck!

excellent buy
The
Sesame
street
ball
pit
is a must have for every child. It is reasonably priced and very durable. Our son loves it! The set up is quick and easy-took about 5 minutes. We have 275 balls in our pit but it could probably hold about another 100. It is larger than it appeared online. Overall, its a good buy and provides loads of entertainment for our son I would recommend this product.
Not too shabby for the price!
It took a while to blow this thing up by hand, but my 11 month old daughter loves it! By far the biggest challenge is keeping her from going in and out the wrong ends and hitting her head, but we're working on it. DEFINITELY need more than 75
ball
s - it only about halfway covers up the bottom of it. But for $[...], can't really ask for much else. And like other reviewers said, it is HUGE.
