Have you noticed that your iPod is quickly becoming the most versatile music system in your home? Electronics companies are racing to build iPod-compatible systems, and some are creating systems specifically for the iPod, like Athena's iVoice iPod dock. Building on their reputation for excellence, this innovative sound dock was designed from the ground up to play loud, sound spectacular, and to last longer than a Kylie Minogue single.

Excellent buy for $50, Just know its limitations

Very crisp, clean upper and mid range sound, bass is not extended but is defined enough. Nice sound stage considering its a one-piece unit. Design is sleek, shame it doesn't come in white, remote is basic and o.k.. I do have to point it at the sounddock (unlike my Monitor Audio iDeck remote, which didn't need clean sight lines or to point at it). I think this is a good speaker dock if you have one of the older iPods, as I do, as it does not accommodate newer iPods. It is also not truly portable, in the sense of being battery operated or small (enough). In short, a very good to excellent sounding machine whose low price point makes it an excellent buy. I imagine perfect for a gift for someone who has an older iPod, grab it before it gets discontinued!

I purchased this item for my daughter for her birthday. She likes it very much, and it was sold at a reasonable price.

Amazing

I Just recieved this product today and so far im impressed. The sound quality is great it gets really loud plus it has a good bass.At that price is a steal. It took UPS 5 days to deliver so it was pretty fast. I will definetly recomend this product and buy from this company again!

Great sound. Better than expected.

After reading several favorable reviews, I purchased this to provide music for a small dance class via my ipod touch. Super portable (although you need AC outlet) and much better sound quality and volume than I expected from such a small unit. Extremely quick delivery from Vanns (as always) and terrific bang for buck. Highly recommended.

Excellent speakers

I bought this product because of the reviews, styling and the price (around fifty dollars). It has excellent reviews, including an A- rating from iLounge. The speakers do not distort the sound, have good volume and more than enough bass for my tastes, and are really compact and good looking.
One thing that you should be aware of is that when you connect an iPhone 2G, it shows the message "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone". Everything works, though, and it even charges the iPhone, but the message is a bit annoying.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. They are perfect for my apartment's living room (~220 sq feet).
