Canon LiDE200 Scanner

I purchased this scanner for work to scan documents and invoice price quotes to email. It works great. Scans direct into PDF format for easy emailing. I am also using it to cut down on paper filing. Installation was simple and easy to use. For the price this is a great product.

Great little scanner so far

I think i used to own the LIDE100 model years back but it would not work with Vista...I needed some scanning functions and rather than go to the copy store I bought this one here...

I decided to move one level up in "quality" to the 200 as I recall with the 100 sometimes scans were a little grainy. So far so good...this scanner is relatively fast...its thin..and simple to use...and for those of you who are concerned..it works no problem with Windows 7. The USB power only is a great invention!

I don't know about heavy business use but for a home user who needs to "scan and fax" once in a while, this thing is great.

Canon LiDE200 Color Image Scanner works well with Mac

The Canon LiDE200 Color Image Scanner (2924B002) just works with my Mac with no special considerations and was delivered quickly!

much better than expected

I am not a first time user of cannon scanners. As expected, this model was a lot easier and functional than the last one and has accomplished exactly what I needed. The multiple image scan and crop function saves a LOT of time...thanks..

Great for scanning lots of photos

I have a Macbook Air running Leopard and my wife has a PC laptop. This scanner works great on both of them. It's easy to set up and easy to use.

I especially like the fact that I can place multiple photos on the glass and the software will break them into individual files, straighten them, and bring them directly into iPhoto.

Makes scanning old photos a breeze.
