Greg Mortenson, David Oliver Relin

Penguin (Non-Classics), 2007

Just Amazing

+ Inspiring
+ No wonder it unanimously gets 5 stars

One of the most touching books I have read in a long time. It is just amazing how much we can do with a little bit of financial help to these NGO's like CIA. I have decided to become a regular contributor of these noble cause, just because of this book. You have to read it, you will never regret ...

Who's got more credibility?

+ A REALLY GOOD Story
+ Highly recommend it.
+ You don't need to be an avid outdoors-man to enjoy this book.
+ Life and Death on Everest

Into the Wild
Jon Krakauer

Anchor, 2007

Wonderful inspite of it's tragic ending

+ Poorly Equipped Dreamer
+ Beauty, goodness and hope. . .

This is not normally the type of book I read, but I am so glad I did. It's moving, and amazing. The story being recounted is quite interesting. (Later I saw the movie which seems very true to the novel, but is far more boring and slow moving than the novel- although the casting seems perfect.) ...

Rowing to Latitude: Journeys Along the Arctic's Edge
Jill Fredston

A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail
Bill Bryson

Anchor, 2006

Entertaining all the way thru...

This is the first book by Bryson I picked up and I could hardly put it down before finishing it. It flows very well, is full of historical facts and great imagery of Bryson's journey along the AT.
